About the Speaker

Xavier Chelladurai is a key leader in HCL Telecom Vertical with more than 25 years of experience. He has executed several Telecom Applications Development and Maintenance projects for various service providers and Original Software vendors.

His specialization is Application Development and Maintenance for the Telecom Business support systems. This includes Telecom Customer management, Order processing, Inventory management, Product Catalog, Pricing and Rating, Billing and Payments, Collections management, Dispute Handling, Revenue Assurance and Fraud Prevention. He is a regular participant at the Telemanagement Forum Conferences and related activities.

He is the Head of HCL British Telecom Offshore Delivery Center for the past 18 months. In this relationship, he has lead the team with innovative approaches, modern methodologies and strategic initiatives and has successfully transitioned the services of 250 applications from various vendors in record time to produce tangible delivery excellence when compared to previous vendors. This productivity has been achieved in spite of an up-front reduction in the cost competitive with incumbent vendors.

He is a Ph. D. in Computer Science / Parallel Algorithms and an author of several technical books including Parallel Algorithms, published by John Wiley in USA and translated into Chinese, and Java, Web Technologies and several Programming language books published by leading publishers such as McGraw Hill, New Age International and Scitech. Before joining HCL in 2000, he was a Professor of Computer Science.
