The presentation will focus on the need for nurturing talent in IT Services organization in the dynamic global environment where war for talent is intensifying. There is a serious crunch of talent at all levels in IT Services organizations. They need to have a strategy in place to fill the gap. The presentation will also describe a framework that Satyam has adopted to nurture the talent to fill the gaps in the delivery at all levels from a Team Member to the Program Manager and exceed the expectations of the stakeholders. Hirdesh Singhal He is a PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner and a Six Sigma Black Belt. He has been a Project Manager/Program Manager and managed two Thermal Power Projects successfully. Later, he shifted to academics and was a faculty member for Project Finance and Management for over 6 years. He has taught various management subjects to MBA students. Many of his case studies have been published in various international management journals. He has also been the Consulting Editor of a monthly digest on Project Management “Projects and Profits.” He has also published and presented a number of papers in global conferences on Project Management. Hirdesh has been with Satyam for the last four years. He has been managing the Satyam Project Management Academy in Satyam Learning World for more than two years.
Ramagopal Madabhushi He has over 10 years of delivery experience in IT and has performed in various roles like Technical Lead, Project Leader, Project Manager and Engagement Manager. He has managed multiple full life cycle development projects and programs on J2EE platform and operations & support projects in various technologies like J2EE, Data warehousing, EAI etc. He is trained on CMMI and PCMM and has acted as assessment team member during CMMI assessment and PCMM assessment at Satyam. He is Six-Sigma Green Belt certified and Black Belt trained.
