Taguchi, a Japanese quality expert known for ‘robust design’ thus explained impact of poor quality. Competitiveness of organizations is largely linked with their ability to produce / deliver quality products and services economically. Quality is a key factor leading to growth, business success and improved competitive position.

Statistical Process Control (SPC), is a quality improvement tool, is a collection of problem-solving tools which are useful in achieving process stability and improve capability by reducing variation. This course provides an insight into SPC tools and techniques which can be implemented and used by everyone across the organization.

Delivery Method

The course is a mix of instructor lead, and self paced learning, designed to enable participants learn, experiment and implement the concepts involving SPC thorough hands-on exercises for sampling and control charts.


Ashwini has 12+ years of experience in quality across the software and manufacturing industries. She has extensive experience in Process Change Management activities. Ashwini has lead the Project Management Office, Software Quality and Control, and Organizational System Improvement Group as CCB Head. She has been actively providing support to Program Managers, and has contributed in building organizational competencies in metrics collection and analysis.

Ashwini has, prior to this, worked at MindTree Consulting, Honeywell, Motorola, Kshema Technologies and Analog & Digital Systems in roles such as Senior Manager – Quality, Principal Engineer, Group Leader etc.
